Immediate post-extraction implantation

Immediate post-extraction implantation

Key steps

  1. Eject off-site the first cement drop
  2. Dry the site before injection of the cement
  3. Ensure primary stability of the cement

The immediate post-extraction implant installation reduces significantly the overall treatment duration. It avoids ridge resorption after extraction, as long as the surgeon and the bone substitute respect some principles.

PD VitalOs Cement flows into the smallest cavities and stabilizes the implantation site through volumic expansion during setting. It provides an osteoconductive temporary interphase, ensuring a stable contact between bone and implant. In the same time, it offers efficient protection against ingrowth of soft tissues.

It replaces advantageously the classical combination granules-membrane thanks to its easy installation and to the tight joint it creates between bone and implant.
